Quick summary on the new tariffs to the US from Australia - My original artworks are exempt from tariffs and my other products like canopies will be sent via a method where there will be no tariffs to pay.  

The new tariffs and removal of the De minimus Exception

There are new 10% tariffs on most Australian products to the US. (Previously products under $800 were exempt from tariffs.) This change was meant to happen in 2027 but was brought very quickly forward. 

It means that USPS are unprepared for the changes and have been given the option of charging a flat $80 (USD) fee on any parcel after August the 29th for the next 6 months only. After that the 10% tariffs plus handling fees will apply to most Australian products coming in to the US.

What products are affected? 

Original art (all my paintings and another decals) are exempt for tariffs there will be NO TARIFFS to pay.

The star stickers will be sent through courier shipping where there will be NO TARIFFS to pay. 

My star canopies are currently sent using USPS though. I've upgraded shipping to express temporarily, just to avoid the chaos and get the orders in before the deadline. I don't intend for you to pay on delivery either tariffs or the $80 flat fee. 

Closer to the deadline I'll also be sending the canopies via DHL and so for all of my products at Stella Murals and Shadowlux Art there will be NO TARIFFS to pay.

What you pay at checkout will be final.
